What is Paint Protection Film?
Also known as a clear bra, it's a transparent, durable film fitted over a vehicle's paintwork to shield it from scratches, chips, stains and road debris, while also cutting down on UV-related fading. Many modern films can self-heal light scratches and swirl marks when warmed.
Is professional fitting required?
Yes. While the film can technically be applied at home, a trained installer avoids issues like bubbling or misalignment and ensures the film qualifies for its full warranty.
Can PPF go over a ceramic coating?
No — any existing ceramic coating needs to be professionally removed first for the film to bond properly. A ceramic coating can be applied on top of the film afterwards if you'd like added gloss and easier upkeep.
How long does installation take?
A wear-and-tear package covering areas like mirrors and door edges can usually be done in a few hours, while full-body coverage typically takes a couple of days depending on the vehicle.
